"Mill Time" is a landscape painting set in the beautiful Tennessee Mountains of Cades Cove. "Mill Time" takes many of us back to times gone by, while others think of a time when life seemed more simple yet richer in all of its beauty. Captured in detail, mans craftsmanship nestled into Gods serene handiwork, Cable's Mill hidden in Cades Cove. Built about 1870, and is still grinding mill today.

"Amazing Grace"
After being dismissed from several of the Baptist Churches in the Smokies for their beliefs in supporting missionary work, temperance societies and Sunday Schools, Pastor Johnson Adams and twelve others came together and established the Cades Cove Missionary Baptist Church in 1841 with Johnson Adams as their Pastor and Green Hill as Clerk.
Artist Rick Hoyle has captured the Church in its peaceful surroundings, as it may have been during the days of its use. You can almost hear the sounds of "Amazing Grace" while viewing this beautiful painting. Rick has also added two hidden images in this painting.

Under the watchful eye of the face on the rock, the children play in the cool waters of the "Blue Hole" at Rocky Fork near Erwin,Tennessee. a wonderful spot for the local citizens to fish for trout or take a cool dip on a hot summer day. Another example of God's handiwork in the majestic hills of Northeast Tennessee.
The face on the rock, whether there by nature or carved by a long ago artist, was noticed by Erwin Artist, Rick Hoyle, when he began painting this scene of the "Blue Hole".

Family members recalls how that many travelers stopped on interstate 26 to admire the quaint barn nestled along the roadside to take photographs. Loca artist, Rick Hoyle, was commissioned to capture the beauty and memory of the farm that is sometimes called Breezy Hills.

Mama Bear teaches her young cub to fish in this flowing stream in the Rocky Fork area, South of Erwin, Tennessee, home of Artist Rick Hoyle. Again Rick has captured the beauty of nature, untouched by progress, which surrounds Erwin. This site is one of many incredible sites in the "Valley Beautiful" of Unicoi County. If you look closely you may also find a hidden image in this scene.

Situated right in the heart of Historic Jonesborough, Tennessee stands the Christopher Taylor House. This log house was built in 1777 by Christopher Taylor who was a veteran of the French and Indian War, and a major in the American Revolutionary War. He was buried in the family cemetery nearby. Andrew Jackson lived here in 1788-1789 while practicing law in Jonesborough. Local Artist Rick Hoyle has captured man's craftsmanship in all it's detail. A painting that gives you the feeling of a day in time long ago.
